One of our favorite spring road trip destinations is Palm Springs! Besides the spectacular weather, Palm Springs is known for its amazing concentration of mid-century modern architecture. Forgotten and out of favor during the 80's, Palm Springs has re-emerged as the new hot spot for travel.
During modernism week, celebrated for 10 days every February, visitors can learn about mid-century architects, attend lectures, parties and tour architecturally significant homes.
Palm Springs is only a short two hour drive from our store in Big Bear. That means we can wear ski clothes in the morning and bathing suits in the afternoon! California lifestyle at it's finest.
